Happy Father's Day to the best dad ever!

Rough night

SO I go to wash a couple of bottles tonight after work, and the faucet gets stuck, and the water won't shut off. Ummm...how does that happen? After about an hour of fiddling with stuff in the basement, Rod finally got the water to shut off. He started ripping apart the faucet and I started getting nervous. Luckily, his handy dandy friend Dave came over to help. So now we have a sink and faucet in a million pieces, and 2 guys that aren't sure how to put it back together or what they're looking for. I get back with the new faucet (who knew they were so freakin' expensive???) and about another hour later, VOILA! We're back in business.

The boys were crabby, and took TWO (yes 2) hours to put to bed tonight.
*bashing my head against the wall*
By the time the chaos ends, I'm ready for a nice glass of wine. So... I go to the kitchen to get it, and I'm OUT!! WHAT??? WHO??? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? And why tonight? There is just nothing right about any of this.

Had a great date night on our anniversary. Ate yummy food, had a bottle of wine, and took a short walk by the river. I can't wait to do it again!!! Who wants to babysit????

Two years later...

and our marriage is going strong. I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life, and I'm going to celebrate my marriage and family today. :) We have lined up a babysitter (after the boys go to bed of course), and we're hittin' the town! Well, we're going to dinner. I can't believe we'll have a romantic dinner, just the two of us, with no interruptions. I'm so excited and it's 10 hours away.
