It's almost midnight on Christmas...
and I'm still up with 2 fussy babies, so I figured I might as well post some pics and make myself useful since I can't sleep. This was possibly the best Christmas I've ever had. :)
Just a little background to get us started. I started running around September of 2011 with a goal of getting healthier and losing weight. I ran my first road race on Thanksgiving Day, and finished the 2 mile race in just over 26 minutes. Slow, I know but I did it! From there I went on to run a 5k, 10k, 10 miler AND finally The Kentucky Derby Mini Marathon in April 2012. I'm 85 pounds lighter (did I honestly just say that out loud?) with a goal of losing at least 30 more. It's possible that at some point I'll post before, during, and after photos, but I'm much too chicken right now.
I just signed up for the Disney's Princess Half Marathon to benefit the LLS, and I'm on a mission to raise money (notice the DONATE NOW button in the right hand column).
