Shout out to my hubby!
Poor guy hasn't gotten any "love" on the blog so far. I wanted to add this picture from our very 1st wedding anniversary. Can you believe it's been a year (6-9-08)? My how time flies when you're having fun. I just want to add what a great dad he is already. He's very good to me (even with the nasty raging hormones), and rubs my feet EVERY night. He talks to the boys and give's me lots of belly rubs. :) The boys and I are so lucky. :)
Just a little background to get us started. I started running around September of 2011 with a goal of getting healthier and losing weight. I ran my first road race on Thanksgiving Day, and finished the 2 mile race in just over 26 minutes. Slow, I know but I did it! From there I went on to run a 5k, 10k, 10 miler AND finally The Kentucky Derby Mini Marathon in April 2012. I'm 85 pounds lighter (did I honestly just say that out loud?) with a goal of losing at least 30 more. It's possible that at some point I'll post before, during, and after photos, but I'm much too chicken right now.
I just signed up for the Disney's Princess Half Marathon to benefit the LLS, and I'm on a mission to raise money (notice the DONATE NOW button in the right hand column).
