- Just a little background to get us started. I started running around September of 2011 with a goal of getting healthier and losing weight. I ran my first road race on Thanksgiving Day, and finished the 2 mile race in just over 26 minutes. Slow, I know but I did it! From there I went on to run a 5k, 10k, 10 miler AND finally The Kentucky Derby Mini Marathon in April 2012. I'm 85 pounds lighter (did I honestly just say that out loud?) with a goal of losing at least 30 more. It's possible that at some point I'll post before, during, and after photos, but I'm much too chicken right now. I just signed up for the Disney's Princess Half Marathon to benefit the LLS, and I'm on a mission to raise money (notice the DONATE NOW button in the right hand column).

How adorable! Did you guys get them the costumes or did the nicu provide them? Love the little hot dog!!!
We got the costumes. The NICU did give us some gift certificates to build a bear, but we got the costumes at Target. :)
I have that hot dog costume! It's even cuter on a little baby. I hope today goes well with the vaccines and circumcision.
