Mom has been a little extra sad lately that the boys still aren't home. But, the good news is that they have been stepped down (again) to another nursery in the hospital, and they continue to thrive. Myles is up to 5 lbs (WOOHOO), and Madden is a little smaller (even though he's older) at 4 lbs 9 ounces. They are both gaining weight beautifully, but still struggling a little bit with their feedings. They just can't seem to get up the energy to take all of their feedings orally yet. The doctor reminded me (when I fell apart this morning), that we just happened to get to meet them early, but they would still be cooking in my oven so under the circumstances, they are doing extremely well. It's hard to keep that in mind when all I want is for them to come home. Every day I go in to the nicu, I hope they will tell me that they have taken all of their feedings by bottle, and it's time for them to go home. No such luck so far. Here are some pics from our visit today. We got to give them a bath for the first time, and it was so much fun!

they are beautiful boys. they will be home soon. it is okay to be sad, but remember what a blessing you have with a wonderful team of doc/nurses and the NICU to watch over your boys as they continue to thrive so they can come home very soon!
